Looking at the river this morning, we saw a Yellowstone that was nearly fishable; but once again, the Lamar is on the rise. So, downriver, we get to wait patiently for another push of water to come through either today or tomorrow. The kayaker’s favorite wave may be in soon, but the fisherman will do better to visit the spring creeks or the Firehole for now.
